In other news, I found out from xplodey_di and pipsqueaks that Ueda did a cover of that Arashi song on Stand Up!! whose title I could never remember. Been on a Stand Up!! high lately so I'm really more excited about the fact that it's from that drama than the fact that it's an Arashi song. *brick'd!*


School resumes tomorrow and I am going to sound like a nerd for saying this BUT I AM FRICKIN' EXCITED. Not for the classes but for being with my friends again. I've missed them terribly. But that also means less time for fandom because I realized last year that it was impossible to juggle both. ): Anyhoo, my first class tomorrow is Intro to Aesthetics. I am kind of excited. :D

It's been three days since MOUSE PEACE started and I couldn't be more pleased with the booming activity it has brought to captain_u. I am the proudest momma in the world right now! ♥

I'm sure most of y'all have already heard/read repos about the con and its less than subtle S&M themes. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it (because, really, who could?) and in a train of ~*deep*~ contemplation, I was able to come up with a few points I'd like to hear your thoughts on!

I was thinking that naming the con MOUSE PEACE (with the addition of the distinctly cutesy theme of the con goods) might've actually been a harmless deception. From there you'd think the con itself would be all cutesy and gay but Ueda managed to turn all that around. He might've intended to deliver a BIGGU SHOCKU!!!``~1!` element from the very beginning, which is exactly what he has done and in the hottest way possible kthx.

The sexual undertones in the concepts and imagery presented aren't exactly subtle. If anything, they are way, way *out there*. I mean, girls chained to his arms and belt? And a harem of doll slaves dressed in pretty Lolita dresses dancing around a huge throne where he sits his pretty little ass on as King? And "live your life with my command, it's time to bend your knees"? And fucking hell, THE WHIP? I am now more convinced than ever (and I say 'more than ever' because I always knew he had it in him :P) that he's inclined to these kinds of things in his private life. NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING THOUGH. I welcome his love for sexual kinks with open arms. *O*

And omg can I just spazz a little about the con goods? Because KAT-TN mascots being his slaves just wins so much. Trust Ueda to come up with these ideas. (I'm sure KAT-TN aren't complaining anyway because, really, who wouldn't want to be Ueda's bitch? :|) And guys, don't even get me started on the pamphlet. NRRRGGGHHH.

I hope Johnny grows a heart in due time and decides to release a DVD of this one. I already missed half of my life when I let this concert pass by. I don't wanna lose the other half that just wants to see the whip Ueda in action even at least through my TV screen. ;___;

(Also, still whining because there haven't been reports on Junno/ Kame/ Jin/ Gackt/ Ryo / Ohkura being there. Sniffu.)
